Welcoming session for intermediate to advanced players of bluegrass, old-time, Irish and Scottish trad music who like to expand their horizons, learn new tunes and songs and share "theirs" with others. It's different every time, depending on who shows up!

About the event
Sally's Sunday Session is what you get when bluegrass musicians host an "Irish" session, that basically started with Loes & Honza's wish to learn more trad tunes, but at a mellow pace.
So the tunes are predominantly "Celtic", but the approach is bluegrassy... I will try to explain...
We go around in a circle and take turns choosing what to play. They can be songs or tunes. They don't have to be tune sets, just a single tune is also fine. If you don't know the tunes, but you can improvize, there is room for that. There is time to chat. If there are set chords to a tune, we can inform each other. If a tune was awesome but difficult and we're just starting to get the hang of it, we can just play it again XD We use these sessions as an opportunity to learn and have fun!…
