Originally from the Netherlands, Loes van Schaijk is a singer-songwriter and instrumentalist based in Prague, Czech Republic. When she sings, she pours her heart and soul into it and connects with the audience by making them smile, cry, think, and sing along.

Familiar face? Loes has been active in the European acoustic music scene since 2005 as a singer, guitarist, and bassist with the bands Waterflow, Lucy & The Man, Red Herring, and Loes & The Acoustic Engineers. She has also sang in as well as conducted several choirs and close harmony groups and has worked as a music teacher for 20 years, specializing in harmony singing and the application of music in performing arts (theater, circus, and dance). 


Loes has collaborated and shared the stage with top-notch musicians such as Pavlína Jíšová and Jaroslav Matějů, Svaťa Kotas, Jan Řepka, David Benda, Milkeaters, Monogram, Stano Paluch, Míšo Vavro, Michal Barok, Richard Ciferský, Radek Vaňkát, Ondra Kozák, Ralph Schut, 4 Wheel Drive, Tennessee Studs, The Often Herd, Rí Ra, Holy Fanda, Ferdy Karto, Marley Wildthing, Svatka Štěpánková, Jimmie Bozeman, Yves Aerts, The Louvat Brothers, Max Tellving, Matt Scutchfield, Kristy Cox, Thierry Schoysman, Joram Peeters, Arthur Deighton, Paul van Vlodrop, and many more.
